Extending Your JavaScript Toolbox | Dreamforce 2017

In In the Field by synaptic_wp

All of us at Synaptic AP are pumped to attend Dreamforce in November! We’re especially thrilled that our very own Drew Fattlar, Web Developer at Synaptic AP, will be speaking at the event.

In his second appearance as a Dreamforce presenter, Drew will offer quick tips on how to “Extend Your JavaScript Toolbox”. His experience using JavaScript for front-end Salesforce app development is sure to make for a rich session with clear actionable takeaways.

Here’s a rundown of the talk.

Who should attend?

Developers interested in learning how to leverage JavaScript to build manageable, efficient Salesforce apps and Visualforce pages.

Why attend?

JavaScript is extremely useful for building dynamic and responsive front-end applications, but the fast-moving JavaScript ecosystem can be intimidating. Drew will break down some of those obstacles so you feel comfortable using the latest features and tools.

What will you learn?

In getting ramped up on modern JavaScript toolchains, you’ll learn how to quickly implement Webpack for running a local development server and Babel for writing in the ES6+ style. Plus, you’ll head home with a config that can be dropped into any of your current projects.

Head to the Developer Zone to hear Drew’s presentation and bolster your JavaScript toolkit! See the presentation details below.
